Not Holding Back

Romans 6:13b (NKJV)    "...but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God."
 

Are you holding back something from the Lord?  Are you not giving Him your best or your all? 
 
How important it is to present our lives daily to God, holding nothing back.  We're not to offer Him portions of our lives.  We're not to just give a little. He's not looking for bits and pieces of our lives, but all of it!  It's important that we offer to God our complete dedication, our wholehearted devotion.
 
I'm reminded of the cute story about the hog and the hen.
 
A hog and hen shared the barnyard next to the old country church. As they were walking around together, they came across and read the church sign about the church's new outreach to feed the homeless and the hungry. They wanted to help so they began to talk about it. The hen said, "I've got it! We'll provide bacon and eggs for the church to feed the hungry." The hog thought about this suggestion and said, "There's only one thing wrong with your bacon and eggs idea. For you, it only requires a contribution; but from me, it will mean total commitment!"
