-Email Mark Wimberly-
Originally from Alabama, I moved to Colorado in August 2004 to work at a ministry for troubled teens. I came to know the Lord at the age of seven, but I did not learn what it meant to be a disciple until becoming involved with the Navigators at Auburn University. There the Lord taught me the importance of being in the Word and that He cares about every aspect of my life. I started attending Calvary Chapel Aurora in January 2007 and feel very privileged to be a part of the fellowship here. One of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 17:7-8, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
